Remember chamber flags are required at the CMP. Sure you can get some free ones from the front desk but I put some fun ones together. I'll have a few available for $10 each. Just saying

On a related note, the CMP flags are the dangerous kind. The plastic "arm" that goes in the barrels will break off, due to flexing at the arm/body interface. This happens all the time at 3-gun matches. In fact, it's happened to me twice. If you miss this, you'll destroy your gun at best; severely injure yourself at worst. I much prefer thicker bodied flags now.
I'll take a remove before flight one. I used to have a ton of the real ones.
Hey, is anyone going that's a really good precision shooter? I've got a couple of rifles that ought to shoot better than they do-- but I can't tell if it's me or the gun.

How is this a bad thing
Does anyone have a FAL they would let me shoot?
What kind of rifles are we working with here?
Do you hand load?
Have you optimized a load for the rifles?
Just an example, I have a pretty basic heavy barrel .308 target F-class rifle that will shoot 1/3 - 1/2 min out to 600 with an optimized well matched hand load. It won't hit 1.5moa with Federal gold metal match.
I would be happy to jump on your rifle and see if I can get it to group.
I don't want to describe my rifle collection publicly, but good equipment. Bolt guns and semis. I do handload, and have optimized the loads as best I can. My .308 loads beat Fed GMM too in my .308. But nowhere near 1/2 MOA.

The same goes for anyone else that can shoot 1/2 MOA groups!
