Got a question about a yellow jacket (I think) sting..ok so don't know if I'm lucky or what, but it's been years since I've been stung so maybe I just forgot. But got stung about 6-7 hours ago on my wrist..now it feels like someone laid my arm on a table and hit me with a hammer..this normal? Like I said it's been years since I've had a sting on my so could have just forgotten how it felt:pthanks dudes

Those little suckers will leave a hurt on ya.. I got stung about a year ago on the neck and it felt the same way. Rub some tobacco on itto take out the sting.. That might help..

Yep, for me it is anyway. Got stung last year and was still burning 10 hours later. Oh, I am not a doctor but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last summer.

Probably not a yellow jacket then Lol, I would at least get it checked out. Difficulty breathing ect warrant a trip to the Emergency room, seems like those symptoms would have already shown up though. I assume no responsibility for your actions and am just give you an opinion :P

As long as you're not suffering from any other symton except the pain in your arm you should be fine, it's just the venom running it's course. It almost sounds like you got nailed by an English Hornet unless you're just very sensitive to Yellow Jacket stings.
