ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet - Marietta - May 17, 2025

Sure missed being there. I had to work. Y’all continue to pray for the preacherman, he had to have another surgery in late February on his leg and he’s building back up strength and healing to get back in into his prosthetic. He’s been having a go at it. I see all of my old friends made it. Looks like yall had a great time

Thank y’all for an awesome experience for my first show, didn’t sell all too much, but just enough, and got a killer trade for both parties involved that checked a list for me for sure. Definitely coming for the next one. Feel like an awful person for not catching the Fellas screen name, but I have been hunting a no lock 357 Smith for a hot minute glad we were able to make a deal where everybody was beyond excited.
That 6 inch barrel is just 🥵

Sales were the poorest ever but still worth setting up. I did notice many less "buyers" this show than in the past but I did have a couple of folks buy a couple hundred dollars worth of ammo. No gun sales at all.

One thing I noticed (and some other sellers commented on) was that there was a serious SURPLUS of $1 bills being used. I mean it got ridiculous.
(Leave it me to complain about counting money)

It was good to catch up with a lot of folks and meet some new ones. Everyone who stopped by to chat, it was much appreciated. Cullen was surprised I knew so many people I call friend. She had a good time and enjoyed the show.

I was a little disappointed at the Trump $100 bill "experiment" results. Sometimes it's better to not know. I reckon times are hard on some folks so it's understandable they'd pick a bill up and pocket it. I hope they were just greedy and didn't really need it.

I had more fun this show getting to talk to y'all but I never made it upstairs where the great deals were last show.

I'll do the next one I'm sure.

Had a great show. It was a pleasure to talk guns all day. Sold a lot of what I came with. Thank you to the buyers. I really thought someone would pick up this stainless PPK in .32 (Plus FIVE mags). A lot of people put their hands on it but no one pulled the trigger. I’m gonna drop the price to $675.00 and relist it.

I thought I got some nice deals on rifle powder and a RA140 trigger on the lower level and some bullets, AR10 mags and a 10rnd 1911 mag on the upper level. I thought the $100 bill experiment was great. I thought there was a good turnout and everyone was polite.
Thanks to all who helped put this on and to the sellers that were giving good deals.

I wanted your SP1... beautiful. It was great to see you and Cullen seems to be a keeper!

She is that. I still can't believe (although I shouldn't be surprised) she put all these knives out the way she did without any direction from me. This is one of two display cases she set up. I'd have never been ready for the 10 o'clock open if she hadn't helped me.

Put 'em all away neatly too when we packed to leave. She's a keeper.
