I understand what you are saying, and respect your right to say it. And, even though I would never wear them myself, I also respect their right to brazen whatever they feel like across the front, and back, of a shirt. Some people just don’t know how to act in public, or care to demonstrate that they do. But, I do respect their right to do so. I just feel you can’t pick and chose which rights to support. Personally, I do not like the political shirts and such with the three letters F** emblazoned on them. But, I stand behind the right of the wearer to display their opinion. (And, I in no shape, way, or form, am a supporter of the person those displays are aimed at.)

There's a big difference between respecting someone's right to do something (1st Amendment), and respecting someone. Most of us would not think of wearing or saying something that could offend anyone in a public place. But those that think they need to make a statement by wearing profanity, and even calling our police "effing pigs" don't care. What is more concerning is that they obviously don't have the sense to know that the messages they are sending are counter productive.

If it's just me, I can handle it and move on. But if I am a parent and my high school age kids and my wife see it then it's another matter. I am not advocating violence by any means, but one day "Mr I don't respect anyone" nasty shirt wearer is going to come across a 6'2" father and family and get his stupid, ignorant and selfish azz whupped good.

Then again, maybe that's what he wanted in the first place and it's all about "Look at me, look at me"

Does chewin tobacco offend you??....LOL...I thought about getting a table just to have a place to sit. I did do better than I thought I would. Spent my life on my feet, not as good as it used to be
