Weekend ODT In-Store Special! This weekend only, mention the ODT special and purchase a Mountain House Classic Assortment Bucket of freeze dried food for only $54.99! This is over 35% off the recommended price of $84.99! To be fair, we must limit purchases to TWO buckets per customer. Good for this weekend only. You MUST mention the ODT bucket special to get this great deal.

This is the lowest price we have ever offered these buckets and you will not find better quality and long-life in freeze-dried food than Mountain House.

I forgot that Amazon now charges tax so if you don't have far to travel (like me) I would buy from Truprep. These days I try to avoid Atlanta area interstates. One wreck and your stuck for hours!

I'm looking at these numbers and I kind of feel like the calories are pretty low for backpacking or survival food. What say ye, ODT crowd?

All of the entrees have 2 servings per package. You will not walk away hungry. I have eating these for the last year at hunting camp. Taste good, cook fast, easy clean up, easy pass through. You will not be disappointed for $5 per meal.

I got one today. I took it home and my sons and I prepared the Chicken Teriyaki w/rice. They didn't seem to like it very much but then again it wasn't Dorito flavored. :) I thought it was great and am struggling to finish the last of this one pouch. I think it's delicious. The guy that helped me told me that Mountain House is big on nutrition but less on calories, and that MH suggests you supplement the meals with something for calorie intake. So considering the low calories (about 550-625 calories per pouch) it might be prudent to snack on peanut butter or add some extra olive oil to the meal in a survival or backpacking situation where the recommended daily intake is more like 3000-4500 calories.

And from TruPrep I picked up this awesome bottle https://store.teamglock.com/gifts-collectibles/glock-sport-aluminum-bottle.html for only $10 that I am quickly starting to love more than my $15 CamelBak bottle. Score!!!
