My Form 4 that went pending on May 3 came back on January 10 (252 days turnaround)
My Form 4 that went pending on May 17 has not come back yet... so it looks like wait time is still on an upward trend (at least anecdotally)

So if even if the wait time was leveling out now... you're looking at at least mid-March for yours to come back.
I have a Form 4 (Trust) where the check was cashed on May 17...so let me know if you see yours and I'll do the same.

Probably just gonna get longer wait times. Haven't even gotten to the first of July mad rush. This after supposedly putting on 37 more examiners. In a couple of months I expect it to be 10-11 months at best .

It's my opinion that they are already complete. They are going to make people wait for a set amount of time. I believe it has more to do with that than volume. I have 4 form 1s that were submitted on July 11 2016.

LOL, um....no....you think the ATF is just sitting around on stacks of approved applications holding them back for fun?

No, not for fun. I assume you know someone who works there then? Please tell us all about it, I would love to hear. I'm sure everyone else would too.

Also please explain why they can reject a form within a month when filled out incorrectly, or not say a word until it's approved 6-8 months later when filled out correctly? By your logic, they screen the simple document the first month, then "work on it" for the next 5-7 months?

I have seen forms get rejected after 5 months.
