ODT NFA tracker thread

For what it's worth, my FFL told me that ATF moved several folks from eforms back to paper in order to get the paper backlog cleared, and that is the reason the eforms aren't getting done as quickly as they originally were. Assuming that is accurate, once those folks get back to processing eforms, maybe the waits will return to 90 days and under.

Kinda doubt we'll actually get 90 approvals on eform 4's anytime soon. I can say though I did recently get my last paper form 4 approved though. At 340 days it's actually been my fastest one, and still better than the 400+ times I've been seeing.

My first and only eform 4 came back in 89 days in early 2022. If atf can get back to that, it would be great!

What would be great is the government getting the hell out of the business of telling me that I can't put a device on a firearm that saves people's hearing AND has no impact positively or negatively on firearm-related crime in the US.

Oh - and charges me $200 for my efforts.

Don't get me started on how much cheaper silencers would be if they were simple accessories.

Indeed!!! And in a glaring example of gov't/atf waste and stupidity, once I have 1, 2 or 3 legal suppressors, why in the hell do I have to go through the entire process again for a 4th suppressor. If I really wanted to commit a crime while using a suppressor, wouldn't I just use one that I already own?!?!
