I’ve seen people going the route of contacting their representative. What all does that entail? Email?
I emailed my rep with a description of what I needed. They sent back a Casework Authorization Form for me to fill out. Fill it out with your info and description of the issues. Sign and date it and send it back. It's basically a release allowing them to pursue the issue on your behalf. Pretty simple. I never heard back after I submitted it. I still had to wait over 2 months after I sent it to them.
When I ckntacted MTG’s office they were super responsive and very happy to help me. I called her office lady got my name and email. Sent me the forms. I filled it out and she sent me a reply back same day that she had opened an inquiry. I got an approval 2 days later. They even followed up and sent an email the next day after I got my approval saying that it should have been approved.
May have to try that. She’s my representative also. This is my first can, I filed the 19th of September so not a big rush yet. Admittedly, im a little worried about getting it before the election.

Don’t contact her office until you’re past the avg wait times.
I called and the nice lady said they’ve been getting a lot of calls for this reason and that there’s not too much they can do. She said the response time for the FBI/ATF is super slow. She did offer to send me the forms to get that process started.
What’s the average wait times? It’s so all over the place…..
