Buddy submitted Form 4 on 5/20/16, received stamp 2/7/17. I submitted 5/31/16, based on math I should have mine 2/18/17, but based on ATF regularity it might be sometime in the year 2043....

Oh boy oh boy oh boy now we're getting close.

Now the wait for them to actually mail them to QRF.

seems like they should already be on their way from other peoples approvals, hoping mines in there too even though its a week behind yours

Try putting a little water in it and be prepared to be shocked at how quieter it is. I run a TiRant45 on my center fire pistols.

Have you ever tried the gel? I've used water before too, but have seen gels out there that I've considered trying.

I got the wrong stuff (wax based) and put it in. Helped a little, just need to find some wire pulling gel. It's not like what ever you put in them is going to make them much dirtier and they stay pretty clean with center fire. I just got back from the range zeroing scopes on the 308's (x3). I zeroed with Harvester 7.62 at 40yd. Without can and same ammo 1 inch high. With the ARC30, 1 inch low and about 1/2 inch to right. This was on a Ruger American Predator 308 bolt gun.

Question: Print the form and build - or - do I have to wait for the real paper with stamp affixed in the mail?

I would say print it. All you need is a copy when toting it around anyway.
