I'm late to this but why would a Baptist Church picket any woman or mans funeral much less one that has served his country and died by the hands of a Coward?
Not trying to start anything but I'm Baptist and this doesn't sound like a Church at all to me.

They're not a church (Baptist or otherwise) they just call themselves a church. It's an inbred family that likes the attention. No I'm not Baptist.

It's really sad that EVERY American citizen does not support our armed services....they give their lives daily so that we can enjoy the better things in life.............dont like it here, LEAVE!!!
I would help pay for the ones that dont like it here to get a ONE WAY ticket out of our country!!

The escort to the cemetery was most moving a week ago; we had approximately 525 motorcycles (Patriot Guard and other folks), most beginning the ride at 1st Baptist Woodstock, others waiting at the cemetery in Canton. The community outreach was extremely moving, with overpasses covered with folks lined up, holding flags, quietly waving. Also on the sides of the road, sometimes so crowded we had to be very careful to ride thru, side by side. Brought a tear to the eye and a choke to the throat, seeing those folks willing to stand in the heat last week (for who knows how long) to express their support for this family and for the USA's armed forces. Westboro didn't show (thank goodness) but our pre-mission briefing warned us that we're there for the family. We stand the flagline to block the family's view of any of these fruitcakes trying to picket and disturb them in their time of grief. And, if any yelling starts, a few of the bikes can be started, letting their roar drowned out the din of the haters. My thought is, there aren't that many Westboro folks and those that ARE committed to their (sic) gospel of hate are not worth our time or our attention.
