Official ODT Silver Thread

Well, I hope it stays there a little while !! ;)
I have a pending trade deal in a few days with a fellow ODTer, at the current valuation, We don't need it dropping to $35, or spiking to $50, and getting us all wound up, LOL !!
With a jumpy market, a locked in deal that is not immediate is risky proposition

You mean there's an actual deal for silver on ODT? I don't believe it!

If we all acted honorable, then it's no riskier then any other ODT deal.

Well, if you buy and sell like a few of us, margins are 5-8% wont work when the market is swinging 5% every few days. If you bought several years ago and are just moving it, it wont matter.

So, you just wait till it swings back your way. It's not like a business that has to pay taxes on end of year inventory.

Well, really, they could just waste more time and meet and not trade and be perfectly fine.
I would think that most traders would do a set deal even with a 10% change in spot. It is the dollar that lost value, not the item or the pm.
