Platinum is still pulling a premium, there is not as much of it in circulation as gold and silver. You'll pay steeply for it going in.

tough to find a buyer in the platinum game has been my experience.
I've seen it sit on here for over a year and not sell

I sold mine in less than a week. It depends on how it's priced. I got 80% of the retail premium when I sold it, too.

I sold platinum bullion to a local jewelry shop that does custom work and repairs. I think they gave me 80 or 85% of spot.
That was fair to me because I had sat on it until it's value more than doubled.
Some fractional coins I had took a while to find a collector willing to pay spot and broke even.
