You should slap whoever told you that. Mexico is the #1 producer of silver in the world and the largest refiner in the world is volcambi in Switzerland.The worlds largest refiner of silver (China) is heavily restricting exports starting Q1 2026. Still....if China withholds, then demand should increase for what remains, which would tend to indicate higher prices for the metal
