OK hows about who has famous folks/stories amongst you

I'll start with this tidbit, the Death Car Bonnie and Clyde were killed in was stolen from my late Father in Law, Dave Rigdon, in Joplin Ms., around late January 1933. He had went into a Drug store and left it running and one of the gang took it and they robbed the local Bank and fled in Dave Rigdon's car, in which they were killed not to long after taking it.
Dave heard the gunshots being fired at the Bank heist and looked out and saw his Ford hauling ass out of town.
His family, after his passing and finding out where the car wound up, donated it, it would been a body shop's nightmare to fix anyway.

Was around a bunch of conceded celebs/players in the 70/80's (my job) & the few that stuck out as opposite besides Aaron/Dale Murphy were Pistol Pete (always nice to us teenagers in the neighborhood), Herschel Walker, Dean Cane & Evel (pre opening party for the Clubhouse near the limelight). Evil inquired about everyones lives at the table for hours. Most of the 70's fighters during the Battle of atlanta's days were also genuine - Norris, Wallace, Lewis, Corley *, Jackson, Selcer, Warren, etc.

met and spoke with J B Stoner and Lester Maddox in Forsyth county for the Civil Rights marches, and one of the " Guardian Angels" an offshoot group of the Black Panthers from New York to here participate in the march.

Almost forgot this one... Played a round of golf with John Daly. A good time was had by all. If I remember correctly he polished off a case of Miller Lites during the round. He broke his driver over his knee when he hit a bad shot.

If you haven't read it already you should pick up a copy of his autobiography "My Life In and Out of the Rough". It's a very entertaining book.

My dad just texted me that he's on a plane with Jason Garrett, the Cowboys coach. He's flying from Orlando to Texas right now, and the Pro Bowl was just played in Orlando yesterday. He said half the plane is trying to get a selfie with him.

One Friday night back around 1990, me and some guys had just seen a movie and headed over to Waffle House (Jonesboro Rd, Morrow) for a midnight snack. There was only one other table of folks there at the time - Ted Nugent and a few friends. I never feel comfortable bothering someone in that situation, but one of my friends walked over and talked with him. He was there for a Damn Yankees concert that had just ended an hour before, and his crew was headed to south Georgia to hunt for the rest of the weekend.

I've run into Jeff Foxworthy a couple of times here in Henry county. I believe his mother lives (or used to live) in the area. My closest brush was sitting next to him while our families waited for tables in the lobby of a crowded Italian restaurant. I had watched another guy chat him up for a long time, so I purposely didn't speak to him. When our table was ready, he asked if he could have the menu I had been looking over and I handed it to him. It was just as exciting as it sounds.

I have deep family ties to the Mob. My dad told me about his uncles that used to run numbers and steal contents from train cars in New York and New Jersey. I love hearing those old guys tell stories. They actually ran a well respected organization back in the day.

When I was in high school, Jeff Foxworthy and David Boyd (illustrator) would meet at a steak house that I worked at. I did not know who he was at the time, but I am betting that half of his you may be a redneck stuff came from me talking about my father.
