Okay revolver guys...

My friend owns a Taurus .357 revolver he says is around 12 years old. It is a five shot, and he is having issues with it. He will pull the trigger and bang, pull the trigger and click, pull the trigger and bang, pull the trigger and click. I told him to actually cock it and pull the trigger each time and he said it shot the first four, then click on the fifth round. Said he tried the fifth round again and it fired. He sent me a picture of the fifth round and it seems as though it is not lining up correctly. What can be done to fix this issue?

Yep, Leatherhead nailed it, the timing is off, Probably just needs a new hand fitted and possibly a cylinder stop. Have him send it to Taurus and they will fix it for free.
