The older Ithica shotguns were high quality for the money back in the day. That pump almost twice the cost of the Mossy and nearly as much as the Rem Auto

Probably late 60's ads. I bought several rifles from Gibson's on South Cobb Drive in late 1960's. Winchester Model 88 lever action .308 for about $110 among others. Still have a Universal M1 Carbine I bought there for $69 with receipt.
