Scored this from my Father in law that was thinning his herd of old boomsticks.
Got this one and a matching 12ga.
There wasn’t much to the metal other than cleaning some surface rust with some steel wool and CLP.
Don’t have many step by step pics of the wood but all I did was sand the sticks down to bare wood, burnished some marks on the wood with a plumbers torch.
Sanded the marks down a little.
Applied two coats of Watco danish oil I had lying around.
Sanded that smooth lightly once dried for two days.
Applied four coats of spar urethane one coat per day for four days and lightly steel wooled between each coat.
Looks like leopard spots kinda-Wife likes it and this is her toy.
My Daughters kitten must have like the spots too.
