OMG! Just had a Sweetgum "gumball" drop and hit the metal ring of my fire pit!

"PING!" , er, I mean "BANG!" (Yeah, that's what it sounded like!)

I dove for cover, did the requisite three barrel rolls, and unleashed a ferocious hail of return fire in every direction. I even reloaded, twice!

I hope I didn't shoot out a window, or wound a neighbor. I think I took out a squirrel and winged a bluejay though.

So glad I made it home safe. Be careful out there.

"Danger Close" was the request for (supporting artillery) fire. I knew those "Shots" were fired from close range!

I’m with Biker. If my crippled old but dove not only would I break something on the way down. I wouldn’t be able to get up.
