Dang! I didn't even think about the neighbor's dogs! I bet they were gonna charge me when I was on the ground. Shoulda shot 'em!

"PING!" , er, I mean "BANG!" (Yeah, that's what it sounded like!)

I dove for cover, did the requisite three barrel rolls, and unleashed a ferocious hail of return fire in every direction. I even reloaded, twice!

I hope I didn't shoot out a window, or wound a neighbor. I think I took out a squirrel and winged a bluejay though.

So glad I made it home safe. Be careful out there.

Did you yell the requisite, "I'm hit! I'm hit!"?

That reminds me of one time many years ago at the fire station. One of the guys who was kinda jumpy was on the phone on back porch and isnuck around and threw a small piece of metal his way. It hit the brick wall and scared him crazy. He swore it was a bullet that hit. He still thinks that was what it was cause I never said different
