Pretty excited about picking up this old French Berthier warhorse a little bit ago. These guys are long and strong in 8mm Lebel. Also, has a pretty neat two piece bolt. I'll be taking it out to the trench at some point this weekend with a few other allies and frenemies.

Yep. It's around 51.4" as opposed to the M1891 Carcano which is about 50.5" and the SMLE is 44.5"
