One of the last photographs of Trayvon Martin

Please tell us more about this "break in" kit and car that Trayvon had. What does this kit consist of??

In all fairness I'm not up on all of the latest street language. Does "Casing the area" mean "walk to the store for some Skittles for my little brother"?

Didn't treyvon have a "break in" kit in his car and was allegedly scouting the area ? There's allot of info they talked about at the beginning that hasn't been mentioned since like Zimmerman being part of his neighborhood watch group. He was supposed to be out "patrolling" looking for illegal activity in his neighborhood. Isn't that what neighbor watch groups do ?

I think that's complete misinformation. TM didn't even have a car.

Interesting progression of "facts" in this thread. It has become clear that LE told Zimmerman to stay in his car and he got out and followed Martin anyway. The only problem with this is that NO ONE involved in the case is claiming that is what happened. Zimmerman was ALREADY out of his car and following Martin when a DISPATCHER said he should not do that. That is a HUGE difference from what is being said here. The only question is what was Zimmerman's reaction when the dispatcher told him that. According to what he says (backed up by three voice stress analyzer tests that LE gave him), he immediately stopped trying to find Martin (who he had lost sight of by then) and headed for the main street to find the patrol car he thought was already on sight or was about to arrive. That is when Martin (who had circled back and came up behind Zimmerman) attacked him.

This is what I've been saying all along. The order of what happens MATTERS. As soon as it was suggested that GZ didn't need to follow TM, he STOPPED and headed back. He said repeatedly he lost him and didn't know where TM went.

In GZ's written statement, he said he was confronted by TM after he hung up the call with 911. The only words that TM said were "You got a problem?" GZ answered "No" and TM replied "Well you do now" and immediately punched GZ in the face knocking him down. Nobody but GZ and the late TM knows exactly what happened but the fact that GZ's story hasn't changed AT ALL, not one single detail has changed, lends to the fact that GZ is telling the truth.

Maybe I'm just entirely weird, but I do not take any account of race into what happened that night. It doesn't matter at all. One man was attacked, one man wound up dead. It's as simple as that.

So Zimmerman was sitting in his car. He see TM. He calls the PD. They say stay there a car is on the way. He ignores them, gets out and confronts TM?

Is this how Zim says it went down?

No that is not how he says it went down nor is that what it sounded like to me on the "911" tape.

He was on his way out to go shopping. Sees Trayvon near the clubhouse peering in the window(s). Calls the police. While he is on the phone Trayvon walks by his truck looking at him and after he psses the truck he walks down the sidewalk cut thru of the complex. George gets out to see where he is going so he can tell that to LEO when they arrive. Trayvon starts running and George starts off behind him while still on the phone with the dispatcher. Dispatcher hears his brething become labored and asks him is he following Trayvon. He answers that he is and the dispatcher tells him they do not need him to do that, then his breathing seems to return back to normal. He heads back to his truck and hangs up. Is the way I recall it.

I see that a lot of you are bringing upThe Stand Your Ground law that Florida has could it not be argued that Martin may have been standing his ground against a man whom he did not know and believed was following him in a neighborhood he was unfamiliar with

Helter Skelter on the horizon?

Perhaps Zimmerman was fed up with crime in his neighborhood. What logical purpose does anyone have for roaming residential neighborhoods they don't live in?

I've got a tire iron and a pillow case I keep my jumper cables in. Does that work for a break-in kit?

So you shoot somebody because you started a fight after disobeying a police order and got your ass kicked. Sounds like a punk move to me.

Wait, who started the fight and where do you get the EVIDENCE that proves this? It sure doesn't come from the 911 conversation. It seems to me that it comes from the biased media reports you have heard AFTER the initial report.

It sure does. Currently I can add a chainsaw to that.

It could IF George Zimmerman approached him and attacked him. The evidence and witness accounts do not support this from what I have seen and heard.
