One of the last photographs of Trayvon Martin

there will be community backlash if zimmerman gets anything less than 1st degree and life or the death penalty.
in the least zimmerman committed manslaughter.
does that apply at that point in time when he did commit MS?

He can't get 1st degree, he's only being charged with second.
If he's telling the truth (as the evidence so far suggests), he didn't commit manslaughter. He defended himself.

Any "experienced attorneys" on here know if his attorneys can even mention the fact that he was not charged but released and then later charged after "politics" became involved? I was thinking during the closing. Is that even possible?

It's irrelevant. There have been many people who haven't been arrested until later. Besides, the political aspect will probably only jade the jury - remember, they're women, likely liberal women (just stating a statistical generality).

I think West has done a fine job completely discrediting the state's star witness. I don't have the witness list but who else can offer any solid proof that GZ was the hostile in that situation?

By the way, the prosecutor is trying to paint the picture that GZ attacked TM, beat on him, and then shot him. If the end game was to kill TM, why didn't he just shoot him first? Why go through all the trouble of being bloodied up? Nothing the state is presenting makes any sense at all.

The prosecution's star witness is a complete disaster.
