Sounds like a familiar conversation in my household, my wife wants to pay for ALL of their college, I told her that I would 'help' but it was their decision to go so they need to bare the brunt of the financial decision they made. I did pay for their cars, phones, etc. but if they don't take financial responsibility for their choices now, when will they start?

Same here. Her mom paid for most of her college and I paid the rest, then paid for her MBA as she was "our" retirement and we spent all my income on vacations and concerts. She left and I kept the house and all the debt. She paid for half of our youngest girls car and we gave the oldest my current wife's car when we got married and got her a newer ride. I'm not a fan of brain washing my kids into thinking they need college.

I’d like to get my 2 sons in at Smith and Wesson that just moved here m. They have an open house in October I may drag them to.

Maybe the degrees should start costing less.

Back than, we had to go thru the entire course and earn the degree... I don't know anybody from my time in school, that bought their degree... bahahahahahahaha
