I'm not usually an OCer, for all of the same old arguments everybody knows. I went out to the hunting property today to cut some wood so I put on my Glock 19 in a Safariland belt holster. Had to do some running around afterward. Went to Kroger, Waffle House, pawn shop, gas station.

Nothing happened. I didn't get the cops called to me, bad guys didn't jump out and try to take my gun or shoot me. I also wasn't being obnoxious and filming myself or being an ass.

Pretty boring day actually.

That's because firearms are accepted here for the most pat. Try that up north and you'd probably have a different experience.

I started open carrying a lot this winter. Glock in a leather belt holster, usually with an open hoodie or jacket over it. I don't think anyone notices. I don't flaunt it, but I'm sure it flashes sometimes through the open windbreaker. I had car trouble once, and a cop came over. I didn't say any thing and neither did he, but he did run my plates. I don't think he noticed either.
