Anyone have any recommendations or things to avoid?

We sold our home in March sold the Trimmer reel mower with the house. Just moved into a smaller house with a very small yard which is great.
Borrowed a friends Lowes brand Kobalt 40v mower this evening , not self propelled. I cut the yard in 15 mins tops.
Now I need to buy one and need recommendations on brand etc.

Thanks

I have a Greenworks Pro that I got on here. I love it.

Have 1 battery, 60V, 5 amh, extended run. Cuts my front and back yard on 1 charge if I don’t use the self propelled feature. If I do use the SP i stretch it out over 2 days to recharge.

I’ve just picked up a string trimmer of the same brand, on sale, with it’s own battery so I have a backup. Register the battery for warranty as soon as you get it no matter what. They go on sale regularly, too.

No gas, no oil, no small engine repair shops. It’s frickin great.

I have a battery Weedeater brand string trimmer I got 5 years ago. I really like it.

It has 2 12V lead acid batteries and does all the trimming I care to do on one charge.

With the EPA carburetors on small 2 stroke engines, and ethanol laced gasoline, I have no desire to get gas powered anything these days.

I've considered an electric weed eater, hedge trimmer. My yard is a monster and there is no electric solution for mowing. The idea of no carburetors or fuel seems like a wet dream!!! I say go for it if your yards small.
