Nope one word in your earlier post "EXPENSIVE", I want cheap to play with and carry on the four wheeler.....
Ruger gets my vote!
The trigger was 265... I would switch it out to a metal trigger toss in 25 round mag and a bag for 325
Still a 10-22.....
I got one of the S&W when they first came out. I've put huge numbers through it and it's been my favorite plinker/trainer ever since I got it.
I do like the idea of a 10/22. Rugged woods rifle one weekend, tacticool ghettoblaster the next. Just start buying chassis.
I've got about half dozen 10-22s,got two 50th anniversary editions still in the boxes.
