Outdoor range private or public

I am looking for an outdoor range north of the city where I can shoot 800yrds. Any suggestions? I am looking at privite clubs or public ranges.

Don't know about 800 but Creekside in Cartersville has 500 yards.

I've heard that too. Only one I know of except for some friend's land that no one is allowed to shoot on. Don't really know why.
