Let's see your best examples of over pressure signs. I found this one recently in brass picked up at a match. I didn't fire it. Most likely someone had an overcharge or mixed in a 9mm major round in a gun sprung for 9mm minor. This one was pretty close to a kaboom.

Here’s mine, Remington 357mag brass, 125gr Everglades FMJ’s over a healthy charge of AA#9. Had 250 loaded, on the second to last cylinder had a shot that sounded different and this was what I found. Shot the last 6 with no problem. First reload on this brass, and the charge wasn’t hot enough to do that, just a weak piece of brass I think. I still have it, I keep all of that kind of stuff

I've blown primers, cracked necks broke the bolt twice. When you get on the edge and keep pushing something is going to give. Seating bullets to touch, using loads developed in the winter during the summer, trying magnum primers without backing off the powder and just hot rodding are a few of mistakes I've made.

Shooting .270 cartridges in a .280 rifle works, but my group wasn't very good. Shooting .380 Critical Defense out of a G26 works, just won't eject even after a complete tear down and cleaning.
