Overheard the funniest story yesterday

I was at the pet store getting some things yesterday. A large family came in with their kids, the oldest one was maybe 10. He went towards the birds and was looking at one of the gray ones....he's asking his mom, who is halfway across the store, "Hey, didn't we have a cockatoo or a cockatiel?"

"Yes, we had a cockatiel..."

"Isn't that the bird that fell down and died?"

"No, it didn't fall down and die, that was Grandma..."

I had to turn my back to them all...I wanted to see my wife's expression but she was toward them lol
