P-12 grendel hammer spring repaired!

No I have not shot it yet. I took an ar-15 hammer spring and gently reshaped to replace the hammer clock spring. The trigger put appears to be heavy enough to do the job but I honestly don't know

I shoots when it loads! Now can anyone tell me is there something that needs done to the throat to make it feel more reliable, is it finicky about its ammo or both. Its will not chamber the last round so I know the mag spring is suspect.
