P365 vs G26 gen5

I shot the 26gen5 and the P365 side by side the other day and was surprised for being so small how well the sig shoots. I’ve shot em both several times in past but never a side by side comparison. The hellcat I tried side by side with the g26 was a good bit more snappy than 26 and the 365

Purchased a Sig p365 in 2018 after they fixed the issues and its with me every day. It’s light, slim, comfortable and just conceals better than anything else I own. I choose my Glock 19 gen-5 for those days I want a bigger gun. I have owned three 26’s over the years and the 19 just works better for me.

Serious question about the 365. Did anyone ever give these the drop/mallet test that were an issue for the 320s? When the 365s came out, all the guntube reviews that I saw said essentially the same thing: “We’re not going to drop test it, because surely SIG wouldn’t make that mistake again.” So did anyone besides SIG ever actually drop test the 365, or do we all just assume the trigger shoe is light enough (or whatever the fix was for the 320)?

I haven’t dropped one yet :noidea:

Glock 26 all the way. I notice whenever I have a Glock listed I get almost nothing but trade offers for striker fired sig pistols.

It’s gotten so bad I am half tempted to start excluding Sigs from trade offers. Zero interest in them and for some reason people with them are always trying to trade them to me for my Glock.

Any particular reason ya don’t care for sig striker fired pistols or just a preference thing?

Just personal preference. I never cared for Sigs DA/SA guns so when they started producing striker fired guns I never really gave them a thought.

I am heavily invested in Glock. Have tons of holsters, mags, etc that would cost me thousands to replicate in a new platform.

Eventually another manufacturer will produce something that will make me make the switch, but it’s going to take a lot.

I bought police trade in Glock 17 mags the other day for under 8 bucks each. I didn’t need them, but at that price I couldn’t pass them up. Especially since Glock will replace them with brand new mags for free if I just drop them by Smyrna or put them in the mail.

I jusst bought a 365 and hope to shoot it tomorrow.

Need a new pocket holster to replace my Diamondback DB9.

The DB 9 is lighter unloaded 11.5 oz vs 16 3/8 and just a little smaller. DB is just 6+1.

I have had all the generation db9 pistols. P365 is way better in all aspects. Way more shootable. Having said that, I actually have a new in package never opened boraii pocket holster db9 specific if interested.
