Painted AK Magazines

A buddy of mine gave me 2 Painted Magazines today. I want your opinion on them:
The 1st mag is a Tapco AK plastic mag.
The 2nd one is a Metal East German AK-47 mag. Thanks

Unusual. I'll be the jackass, I guess.
Improved Tapco, lowered value of the East Geman. EG mags have the best salt water bluing of any AK mags.

Cheap plastic mags are always better with a good rattle can job... model paint sticks REALLY well. I have some in a spray can I acquired somewhere. Best coating I've seen.

both look nice, tapco looks cleaner but I love the east German mags probably best quality for metal mags.

I started getting bored sitting at home not traveling with work, and conjured up this scheme on an extra AK mag I had. This was a black Tapco. I did not install the bottom plate at the time of this photo.
