Painting a hunting rifle

Well once again I got the urge to paint a rifle. Which happens about every 6 months. Tried to do the sponge paint job. Wanted to try something different and haven’t tried one of these. Used 4 colors. Desert sand for the base and FDE, brown and green for the top sponge work. Fun project for the afternoon. Plus wanted a new pattern for rifle season coming up. Came out pretty good and definitely different then my others.

DO IT! So many ways to do it. Mesh, foliage, sponge, dish soap
