Parkinsons

My wife has it.
Has a tremor in her left hand, and for a while it affected her walk. She wasn't moving the left side as quick as the right, and even the left arm didn't swing right when she walked. Physical therapy, and daily exercises have helped a lot. She's not moving quite as slow as she used to. She started going to a neurologist, and wasn't seeing any improvement. Changed to a Parkinsons specialist, and he's the one that put her on the exercise program, and it's really helped.

It sucks, cause we know it's never going away, and it's gonna get worse, but we'll deal with it one day at a time.

My dad told me last night he’s been diagnosed. He’ll be 70 next month. He’s my best friend and Im not handling it that well. Tried to sleep last night but I didnt get much. Im trying to read up on it. This blows.
Sorry to hear that.Spend as much time as you can with him and enjoy the goodtimes.

Sorry to hear this sir. I know you have a great relationship with your dad. I pray for the best outcome for you.

When I was 22 I quit working for my dad and opened my own sheet metal shop. He invited me to breakfast or lunch almost every Saturday for 5 years, but I was too busy building my business and never went. He died on the job at 59. Take the time while you have it.
