Pawnshopping

IVE BOUGHT HIGH DOLLAR RODS AND REELS FOR ABOUT 1/10 NEW COST MOST OF GUN DEALS IVE GOT ARE ON STUFF THAT NEEDS REPAIR! SOMETIMES FIND SOMETHING AT DEAL WHEN THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE! DANIELSVILLE PAWN AND PAWN SHOP ON 29 AT HULL, THE OWNERS ARE GOOD GUYS TO BUY FROM AND IVE ALWAYS GOT GOOD DEALS.

I rather be kicked in the nuts than go into pawn shops.

You are doing it wrong . The basics , carry cash , cash makes the deal way easier . Know what stuff is worth and be prepared to walk . You can find occasional deals . I found my 2 inch model 10 in one and an assortment of other stuff over the years .

I love pawn shops . Nearly everything in my house came from pawn shops. Every tv. Almost all my guns. You just have to find the right shops. Some are museums. I don't bother with those. Cash does usually help. You also have to keep in mind a good shop is fair to the Pawnees and gives a decent price fir an item and then resells it a decent price as well. Acting like they only have $5 in something priced $200 is a sure way to not get a deal.

Pretty much everything I've ever seen at a pawnshop was way overpriced.
Yeah it's the same for me. In Darien there's only one pawn shop and that guy wants $299.00 for a well used Mosin 91\30 and $89.99 for a used Shop Vac. Pretty much the same story with the shops in Brunswick.
If you live around Macon and middle GA it's very hard to beat the new or used gun prices at Howard's Pawn. Only downside is that you have to go to Macon.
