Sat night I escorted my wife and daughter to Taylor Swift concert at Phillips. I carried as alway's since we were in ground zero for two legged predators and we took MARTA. Once we reached Phillips, I stood with them until they went inside and I went to CNN Center for dinner and to read to pass the time until it was over.
At the gate to enter Phillips, security were outside the door checking purses and having men pull their shirts up above the waist and another was using a wand to scan for weapons, then another crew at the door took the tickets. The man asked "Sir, can you lift up your shirt", me "Nope" and gave the wife and kid and kiss and he just stared, then I told him I was not going inside and watched them enter, went to CNN and no problem entering.
Last year I carried inside Phillps with no problem, I guess they bumped up security now, not to mention the BET Hip Hop awards were next door, but still, I guess Phillips is off limits now.
