Piston driven uppers

So, I've been on the search for a piston driven AR-15 pistol/upper. I've been looking at the RRA PDS as I'm looking for something without the buffer tube out of the rear.

Anyone have any other quality similar-styled pistols? If it's cheaper than the 1500 dollar price tag - great, if not, oh well.

Not sure if you'd consider it to be a "true" AR-15 but the Sig Sauer 556 is a two-valve piston system with no rear buffer, spring, or tube. I owned the rifle and currently own the pistol and would swear by their reliability. Just my 2 cents worth...

I have a rra pds...Just picked it up on here the other day....I really like it! You are welcome to shoot it if you would like to try it before you buy one

camram - I might take you up on that one, for sure! I was PRAYING that joker wasn't gone, but I guess you had purchased it before I got in touch with the OP

RHelton - I've looked at the Sigs. Not 100% on them, I'd like to know more about their reliability and get my hands on one.
