Pitbull discussion started in The Awesome, Cool and Random Pic. Thread.

I had military working dogs in Korea, Saudi Arabia, Honduras and other places. All good dogs, but I have always had Sht-Zu's in my life. But the meanest dog I had was my Sht-Zul/Terrier that is my Avatar. I saved him from a Kill Shelter and he was 100% Loyal to me, but hated my entire family and friends. He would even get in between my friends when they visited. He would not even let my wife enter my man room with out barking and trying to bite her. He passed this May at 16 years old. My Boy was Crazy and my mother would say Dogs act like there Owners.

Mandy was a rescue from Fulton County Animal Control. Here you see her plotting when she'll be able to maul again.

My wife wants us to get a large dog for protection. She is a bit fearful if I have to leave her alone at the house. She is hearing impaired. Our 16 year old minipoo passed last year. Until he became almost deaf he would let her know if anyone was around the house. I have seen many people with good pitbulls.

Whatever we get will be a rescue, like we always have done. Will stay in house most of the time, however, will have to wait until I can put up a fence. Have six acres but will fence a small area around the house.

Had to warn our closest neighbor recently about their dog coming around our house. They don't have a fence and he gets out all the time. He is a mixed blue heeler who is semi aggressive. I went out the back door and he barked at me. I pepper sprayed him.

Well since everyone is sharing pics of their pups, here are mine. First one is my 100lb lab, dressed as a lion for Halloween. Second one is with him and and the new pit/mix pup we just got from the shelter about two months ago. He's a baby in the pic, he's already three times that size now. I think he's going to be a big boy too.
