Plantar Fasciitis

I’ve had it for about 4 years now, rolling it on a frozen water bottle helps but for me it’s never went away completely.
I’ve learned to just shift my weight when walking differently, sometimes I’ll still step on it funny though and it hurts like a SOB.
Surgery is only option had 2 those flat warts cut of bottom right foot years ago felt like walking on a marble till they cut them out.I haven’t any problems since. Find good foot doctor

Left foot has PF, bone spurs in the ankle and arthritis. The exercises and the orthopedic insoles are how I keep moving. I also have a pretty snazzy foot massager that really seems to help on the bad days.

I have PF. It's terrible. I needed it to heal because I have to exercise. It's not an option.

So I bought these shoes, and for me, it's a real life saver. I have a pair of Neo Prio (highly recommend). Im looking forward to getting a pair of HFSII. I heard they are great. I do not recommend zelen, it's terrible. My favorite is the Neo Prio

If you order from them directly, they have a 5,000 mile guarantee. They just warranted my zelen and im going to get a pair of HFS II.

They are expensive, but if you catch a sale, or prefer an odd color, then they are very affordable.

It takes a week to get used to but it strengthens your feet and cures alot. YMMV. Good luck.

I've had three episodes of plantar fasciitis in the last 30 years. Each lasted 3 to 6 months. When I was in the Air Force the used ultrasonic heat and cold compresses. They also gave me a calf stretcher, an arch roller and custom orthotic inserts for my boots/shoes. The VA did pretty much the same thing the two other times I've had it.

You can get the calf stretcher and arch roller pretty much anywhere. A podiatrist can do the orthotics. Or you can try off the shelf variants.

Good luck. It is very painful, but it should pass.View attachment 9350920View attachment 9350921View attachment 9350922
This type of stretch. You can do this against a wall. You don't need anything special. Just don't over do it to start with. You have to work into it. Calf raises help a lot as well. Put a block under toes. It improves the stretch. Like I said don't over do it to start with

Anyone have/had it? What did you do to help it? I’ve been doing those foot stretches but so far it isn’t helping. I’ve had it for a while but finally got looked at so they could tell me what was causing the pain. It hurts pretty good.
Brother, it started on me about three months ago, and I’m suffering with this stupid pain on my left foot. I bought some different shoes and shoe’s inserts, to help support the curve of the foot, but I can’t say if it had improved or not.

Foot dr made put a cast on my foot in the stretch position. Then cut it so I could lace it up with Velcro strips so I could take it off at night. Wore it every day for 12 weeks . He said surgery the healing and damage it caused would make it worse.
It worked. Been 20 years and it still no pain.
