The way I see it to each their own. I wanted a plate carrier so I bought one. I buy quality gear when i buy it. That is why I went with eagle industries. I buy my gear to use not to look cool. I take training courses and buy useless gear as many say. If it makes you feel better buy it. Wear it get use to it and to hell with what everyone else has to say.

then get a plate carrier you want it to fit good don't worry about strapping on nonsense

no bs eBay or hard worn out surplus garbage
your plates may stop a round but they may not survive a 5 foot fall and still be effective
