PMAG's vs Steel Mags

Do you keep some your clips loaded and packed away? How many years, weeks, etc. can you keep a PMAG or steel magazine loaded before the springs start to lose tension?

from my understanding loading them and leaving them will not harm the springs . it is the cycles of loading /unloading/loading/unloading that wears on the mag . I do have a couple mags loaded but most of my mags are empty unless i am heading to the range then i will fill some of them up , I do however have striper clips loaded in case was to need to load them quickly LOL
