If you send a PM to someone, should you expect an answer? If its sold, no thanks, not interetsed or just a have you lost your mind answer would be better than nothing. It might take me a minute to answer, but I will get back to you. That is just my small rant today. What do you ODTr's think?

I don't always expect to get a response back. But if you PM me an offer, I guarantee I will answer it.

That would be nice. How about if your actively negotiating an offer and they never even bother to respond back after 2 or 3 back and forth emails? I just put those peeps on ignore and carry on. Too many good experiences on ODT that far outweigh the few negatives but I still wonder about how these people interact at work day to day. Are they dense or just rude?

Yes, I would expect some acknowledgement that they had, at least, received my PM. It's called courtesy.

OTOH, I would expect some type of acknowledgement when I hold a door open for someone....I don't always get it.
