What's the biggest gun you can comfortably pocket carry?

I've enjoyed carrying a J-frame .38 snub in a cheap fake suede (nylon) Uncle Mike's holster.

Now I've just modified a similar clip-on IWB holster from Uncle Mikes (I cut the plastic belt clip off) and will start carrying my Taurus Millennium PT-111 G2 in my pocket of most of my pants. I have some dress slacks whose pockets will not be large enough to accommodate this double stack 9 mm with a 12 round magazine and which has a pinky extension baseplate. but I've got several pairs of walking shorts, loose fitting jeans, and casual dockers and other pants that ought to work for a gun this size.

Does anybody else carry a compact 9 mm --with a staggered magazine --in their pocket ?

I am thinking that a different gun-- something like the Smith & Wesson Shield --would be a better fit. Maybe a Kahr CW9. Something slimmer and with a shorter grip and flush-fit mag baseplate.
But I don't own one of those!
So I'm going to work with what I've got, and test it for a week and see how I like it.

I've started carrying my Millenium G2 in an inside the waistband kydex holster, cover it with untucked shirt, much easier to put in play than fumbling around in a pocket for it.

I have WAY too much pocket junk to try to put a firearm in there, too. I HAVE tried with a S&W Shield, a Glock 42, and both a Sig 238 and 938. The last three were fine in a pocket, but the Shield was a little big for me. AND I had to rearrange my pockets. Old dog/new trick. I figured that an IWB holster was better for me, AND I could carry a larger handgun.

Nylon /poly athletic shorts seemed to hold it O.K. when I was
standing or walking, but when sitting the butt sticks out of the pocket.
It isn't obvious to others that it's a gun, but it doesn't feel secure.
