So as I mentioned in another thread me and the wife are on our 18th anniversary. So ( like a dumbass) I booked a room here at the Westin Peachtree right smack dab in the middle of downtown ATL. Oh my God what an ordeal!
Okay the traffic jam started at the Griffin/Jackson exit. Usually it's not until Hampton or McDonough. Nothing but brake lights until around Southlake Mall. Then we get here and I had to circle the block and the one way streets three times before finding a parking deck to use.
Anyway, we got here late and went to our dinner reservation late but it was all good. My dinner at The Sundial was only $165.00. Good food but not THAT damn good. Well here's some pics of the killer view from the 56th floor and the 72nd floor at the Sundial. Maybe in the morning I can get better pics.
Main takeaway here is that I just ain't cutout for being around all these uppity type folks.
