This was a deceptive thread title. I thought I would be able to give some good pointers on the fine art of possum eating AKA muff diving.

I would try one bite as I did with stewed chitlins....possum is probably an acquired taste as must be chitlins...chitlin flavor stayed with me all day, sort of a nutty poopie flavor....yeesh..

There's a few things my Dad never subjected his kids to. Razor strap whipping, chitlins and Castor Oil. He said he grew up with it and he didn't want his children to have to deal with it
