Tiny helping me set up a few fun guns on the kitchen table before Mrs. Fear gets home tomorrow. LOL - dang Tabby knocking pins and springs around! Thank goodness I have boxes of these components LOLOLOLOLOLOL
I sat down yesterday morning to slap together a cheap Anderson lower /BCA side charger 7.5" in 5.56. Thought I had more than what I needed. Turned out the LPK I bought Friday didn't include the trigger group. First trip to Broken Arrow Outfitters here in Perry. I don't know what kinda trigger and hammer they sold me but it was WAY off from fitting. Second trip to Broken Arrow. They exchanged the hammer which looked off before I even tried it. Got it installed and it locked everything down right. Had to punch the pins out and head back again. This time I bought a CMMG parts kit. Got everything installed even them damn roll pins in the trigger guard and hold open. Went to install the buffer tube and realized I didn't have an end plate. Sumbitch!!! Fourth trip to Broken Arrow. I bought two end plates . Gotta be the most aggravating build ever.
But you know how it goes. You THINK your parts drawer has everything you need (and then some) until you get it all laid out on the dinner table. Then you wind up quoting James Gregory
" Ahhh dayumn!!"
