Posting menus/options gone????

Using new iPhone 15 w/ iOS 17 something. I can’t choose attachments, emojis, etc. The options are there, just shadowed options. Anybody else having this issue or have any advice? Thx

Yep, I've found you have to click these brackets for those options to become available.
I'm on a Samsung Android & Chrome
