Poverty Pony

I would guess that it is an easy way for Ruger to procure more manufacturing capacity at a lower cost. Hopefully they institute a bit more QC into the processes/tighten the tolerances and make some better quality stuff. I know Ruger can do it, some of their products are good/high quality (love my M77's and #1/3's), while some is average to lower end (looking at you, AR15 stuff).

With Marlin (Ruger owns Marlin) the quality (from what I've seen and used) is very good (I bought a Marlin Dark a bit ago, love shooting it, and will probably be in the market for the 1894 SBL 357/38 in the near future) but they are pretty far behind with production so maybe they are attempting to introduce some older Marlin classics? Or more 10/22's. Ruger Americans. SFAR. or maybe something new?

I have not read every post so not sure if anyone has mentioned this but all Anderson Manufacturing products no longer have a warranty. Their website says "As a result, warranty services on Anderson firearms, parts, and accessories are no longer available." Not trying to say there is anything wrong with Anderson guns or parts. I've personally never heard of anyone having issues with their stuff. But if you do have a need for a warranty claim, you are out of luck. And ironically, just today, I placed a bid on a new Anderson Kiger pistol lower. So really mixed feelings on whether I want to win the bid or not.

It's a collector's item now! Also, were you really going to submit a warranty claim on a non-glock glock lower? Shipping both ways would likely match the cost of the lower.
