PPS-43 tooling

Howdy ODT,

Searching for any used PPS-43 tooling, diagrams, parts, ect. Just checking here first before purchasing a parts kit, barrel and receiver alignment tooling. Thanks

You don't need any alignment tooling to build one of these. Get a kit from Robert Bowman and a barrel and you'll be all set, just need some semi parts after that. Assuming you weld of course.

So no alignment needed to weld all the upper sections together?

Well it does need to be aligned but all you really need is a couple clamps to get it lined up. It's sheet metal, if you don't get it aligned correctly the first time just cut it and try again. These are very simple gun and as long as the bolt travels back and forth inside the upper then you'll be fine. Now aligning the front sight and the rear sight to the barrel will be the tricky part but again nothing really needed but some clamps to hold it. Spot weld it and test and adjust and repeat.
