Second edition of my new Match Skill Builder class is May 21 at South River Gun Club east of Atlanta, GA. This one-day class teaches how to execute core practical shooting skills in a match environment. It will cover shooting from difficult positions, around vision barriers, and while moving along with transitioning between targets that demand varying degrees of speed and precision. Stage planning concepts and visualization will be covered in detail. The first edition had several LEOs in attendance, and they found the material highly applicable to their work.
The class assumes a higher base level of skill than the Practical Pistol Core Skill Builder—students should be familiar with shooting USPSA stages. The class will still hit some fundamentals, but the focus will be on more complex drills that add layers of difficulty on top of them.
Class fee is $175 and max class size is six students, so you'll get plenty of one-on-one coaching. Round count will be 300—400 for the day, but you're free to shoot more.
